Cardiovascular surgery

I am currently a resident in general surgery, soon to start my training in cardiovascular surgery.

StrepZero

StrepZero is a collaborative project between the University of Geneva medical school, the University Hospital of Geneva and the University of Marakech, with contributions from the virology, microbiology, pathology, nephrology and cardiovascular surgery departments

It's goal mainly in education of medical professionnals in developping countries on the dangers of streptococcal infections. The project has produced a web site and a CD-ROM.

The cardiovascular surgery department contributed a chapter on rheumatic valvular heart disease, which were presented at the Global forum on humanitarian medicine in cardiology and cardiac surgery.

CTSNet.org Cardiothoracic surgery notes

I am currently working on adapting the content of CTSNet's CT surgery notes to iSilo e-book format, compatible with palm os, pocket pc / windows mobile and symbian os.
